Charlene Peoples moved to Holly Lake, from Ovilla, Texas in 1998. There she had owned and operated Peoples Appliance & Carpet Sales. She also built custom homes in the Duncanville-Red Oak area. Paulette Wilson (Charlene's sister) came to this area from Ovilla also. She and her husband owned and operated a large pet store in Duncanville, The Pet Village. After the death of her husband, she joined Charlene in this area. Paulette and her son breed and show paint horses. She has a special interest in farm and ranch properties. Clint Norvell Moved to Wood County in 2001. He has been hunting and fishing in and around Wood County for over 40 years. Before moving here he lived in Mesquite . He was in real estate investment there for nine years.
